사업체 종사자

사업체 종사자는 해당지역의 고용기반을 나타내는 지표이다. 수도권의 사업체 종사자 비율은 전국의 50.4%를 차지하고 있으며, 시계열적으로 비교하였을 때 경기도 종사자수의 꾸준하고 급속한 증가가 눈에 띈다. 서울시의 경우는 2000년에 일시 감소하였다가 2005년에는 약간 증가하고 있다. 전국대비 비중으로 보면, 서울의 경우 점차 감소하는 추세인 반면 경기도지역은 1986년 이래로 서울의 광역화 현상과 함께 지속적으로 증가하는 경향을 보여준다.

공간적으로는 인구성장패턴과 동일하게 경인축과 경부선축을 따라 종사자수가 확대하고 있음을 알 수 있으며, 특히 수도권 남서방면의 성장이 부각되고 있다.

EMPLOYEES

The number of employees serves as an indicator of the employment base of a region. Employees in the metropolitan area account for 50.4% of the national employees, and there is a steady and dramatic increase in the number of employees in Gyeonggi-do. The number of Seoul’s population temporarily declined in 2000, and slightly rose in 2005. While the percentage of Seoul’s population in the national population has continued to drop, that of Gyeonggi-do has continued to rise since 1986 along with the expansion of the metropolitan area.

In line with population growth pattern, the number of employees rose along Seoul-Incheon axis and Seoul-Pusan axis, and the southwestern part of the metropolitan area has seen a sharp rise in the number of employees.
