도·소매업 / 음식 및 숙박업 / 생산자서비스업 / 소비자서비스업

3차산업의 대다수를 차지하고 있는 것이 도·소매업과 음식·숙박업 외에, 생산자서비스업과 소비자서비스업이다. 생산자서비스업은 금융보험업이나 사업서비스업 등으로 구성되는 반면, 소비자서비스업은 일반 소비자를 대상으로 서비스를 제공하는 산업으로 구별된다.

음식숙박업의 경우 서울시 전 지역에 널리 분포하고 있는 양상을 보이고 있고, 도소매업체의 경우에도 서울시의 전역에 산재해 있다. 특히, 신당2동, 종로 5·6가동, 회현동, 교남동 등은 5천개가 넘는 사업체가 입지하는 높은 집적수준을 보이고 있다.

소비자서비스업의 경우에도 비교적 서울시 전역에 고루 분포하고 있는 모습을 보이고 있는 반면, 생산자서비스업의 경우에는 강남권과 도심권, 그리고 여의도와 구로동 및 가산동 등의 서남권을 중심으로 한 높은 집적세가 존재하고 있다.

WHOLESALE & RETAIL INDUSTRIES / FOOD SERVICE &ACCOMMODATION INDUSTRIES / PRODUCER SERVICE INDUSTRIES / CONSUMER SERVICE INDUSTRIES

Except the wholesale & retail and accommodation & food service industries, the producer service and consumer service industry account for the highest proportion in the tertiary industry. While the producer service industry is made up of financial insurance and business service sectors, the consumer service industry provides service to general customers.

Food service & accommodation industries as well as the wholesale & retail industries are widely distributed in Seoul. In particular, more than 5,000 industries are located in Sindang 2-dong, Jongno 5,6-ga, Hoehyeon-dong and Gyonam-dong.

Unlike the consumer service industry evenly distributed in Seoul, the producer service industry shows a high density in Gangnam-gu, the downtown, and the southwestern region including Yeouido-dong, Guro-dong and Gasan-dong.
